He has worked with all age groups, from 9 to 90, and at all skill and ability levels, from beginner, to high school and D1 athletes, to professionals with the Nashville Kats (Arena Football League), Nashville Predators (NHL), Tennessee Titans (NFL), and New York Yankees (MLB), in both team and individual settings. In addition to physical training, he also provides consultations on programs, mindset, accountability, and makes nutritional suggestions to help reach the goals of the individual both in person as well as online. He has also contributed a number of articles to various magazines and newspapers on health and wellness.
In addition to traditional sports, Michael is a competitive mountain biker and a 5-Time finisher of the grueling Leadville 100 Race Across The Sky. He is a very skilled technical rider, and teaches the beginner how to get in and out of their pedals and basic skills, and works with the advanced rider to bring their climbing and descending skills up a notch. “If you’re going to ride a mountain bike, why not ride it in the mountains??” You don’t need to be an elite athlete to withstand a session with MDC- just the desire to improve, and the dedication to see it through. “Everyone that lives in the mountains is an athlete, to some degree. The stronger and more prepared the athlete, the better the performance, with less likelihood of injury.”
Michael believes that a body in motion truly stays in motion, and that building good habits are key to a strong, healthy lifestyle. He makes his sessions fun, informative, and challenging.
